Do these good deeds indicate love for Allah and His Messenger, or will love come with the passage of time, and is there a fear that this might be hypocrisy and worship out of fear of Allah?

Love for Allah is achieved through worshipping Him and obeying Him, and love for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, is achieved by following his Sunnah and emulating him, as stated in the verse: {Say, "If you should love Allah, then follow me, [so] Allah will love you."} (Quran 3:31). Attaining Allah's love is accomplished by pondering over His names, attributes, and blessings, and loving the Prophet by reading his biography and characteristics. It is advisable to strive in combining fear and hope, and to disregard the whispers of Satan.
