How can a mother obtain her rightful share of her father's inheritance, and what is the ruling on taking her share without the knowledge of her father and her maternal uncle, especially since the father distributed his assets among his male children to deprive his daughters of the inheritance?

The money gifted by a grandfather to his children during his lifetime is not considered an inheritance. This gift is deemed an injustice and a violation of the justice commanded by the Sharia, as Allah Almighty says: "Indeed, Allah enjoins justice." The Prophet (peace be upon him) referred to this differentiation among children in gifting as "injustice." If the grandfather dies before rectifying his gift, it is not permissible for the daughters to secretly take from the remaining estate based on the grandfather's injustice in his gift. The grandfather should be advised and reminded of Allah to rectify his gift before his death, because an unjust gift may sow resentment.
