What is the ruling on a husband preventing his Niqabi wife from passing in front of his family at home, claiming it is obligatory for her not to pass in front of them, even if this leads to her not going to the restroom?

A wife must obey her husband in what is right, as Allah Almighty says: "Men are in charge of women by [right of] what Allah has given some over others and because of what they spend from their wealth." So, if the husband prevents his wife from passing in front of his brothers, she must obey him, unless that puts her in a difficult situation, such as preventing her from fulfilling her needs; for obedience is in what is right. It is better for the husband's brothers to avoid sitting in the passageway to avert inconvenience, and the wife has the right to live in a house separate from the husband's relatives.
