Is mocking someone on YouTube considered backbiting?

Backbiting is to mention a person with what they dislike, whether by tongue, gesture, or otherwise. Its حرمة (prohibition/sacredness) increases if it is through media outlets to spread people's faults. Ridicule is considered a prohibited form of backbiting, and any insinuation in word or deed that implies belittling another falls under backbiting. Whoever hears backbiting is not permitted to approve of it or be pleased with it. Rather, they must denounce the backbiter to the best of their ability and leave the gathering if possible. And whoever defends the honor of their brother, Allah will keep the Fire away from their face on the Day of Judgment.
