Should the hand not be used for istinja' if the force of the water spray does not help spread the impurity?

We believe that "spread of impurity" means that the impurity extends beyond its point of exit, such as reaching the buttocks or urine exceeding the glans. The limit for this is when feces spread to half or more of the inner part of the buttocks, and urine spreads to half or more of the glans.
