Why did God not preserve the Torah and the Gospel from distortion as He preserved the Qur’an, even though they are two books from Him, and He wrote the Torah with His hand? And why did He allow the distortion of heavenly books that hold such status?

The wording "فقرأه النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم" (the Prophet, peace be upon him, read it) in Al-Musnad is incorrect. The correct wording is "فقرأه على النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم" (he read it to the Prophet, peace be upon him). The edition published by Mu’assasat al-Risalah relied on multiple manuscripts that confirmed this wording, and it has also been transmitted by a group of scholars. There are other narrations that confirm that the reciter was Umar ibn al-Khattab, may Allah be pleased with him. The correct understanding is that the Prophet, peace be upon him, did not learn to read after his prophethood.
