Is it better to pray Witr in congregation or to delay it until the last third of the night?

It is best for one who prays Tarawih with a congregation to pray with the Imam until he leaves, so that he may be credited with the reward of spending the night in prayer. Delaying Witr is better for one who intends to pray in the last part of the night. For one who wishes to delay Witr, he should pray with the Imam with the intention of a general supererogatory prayer or night prayer, and he should not say the taslim with him, but rather perform one rak'ah after him, due to the established prohibition of two witr prayers in one night.
