What is the ruling on wearing a ring with a lapis lazuli stone that contains a few particles of gold and copper?

It is forbidden for a man to wear gold, as Muslim narrated from Ibn Abbas that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, saw a gold ring on a man's hand, so he removed it and said: "One of you deliberately puts a burning coal from Hellfire on his hand!"

Lapis lazuli stone is composed of several minerals, none of which is gold. It is a stone used for decorative purposes, is sky blue, and is mainly composed of lazurite, a mineral consisting of sodium, aluminum, silicon, oxygen, and sulfur. There is no harm for a man in wearing a ring with a lapis lazuli stone. However, one must beware of pagan superstitions related to gemstones, such as believing that they bring happiness and luck or cure diseases.
