What is the meaning of the Almighty's saying: "There is nothing like Him"?

Al-Sa'di, Ibn Kathir, Al-Baghawi, and Al-Alusi stated in their interpretations of the verse: "There is nothing like Him" (ليس كمثله شيء) that nothing resembles or is comparable to Allah, neither in His Essence, nor in His Names, Attributes, or Actions. This is because He, glory be to Him, is uniquely endowed with absolute perfection, and He is the Unique, the Eternally Besought, who has no equal. They pointed out that the word "like" (مثل) and the letter "kaf" (ك) in the verse are used for emphasis or hyperbole in negating any resemblance whatsoever, and that Arabs use "like" (مثل) to mean "the very self" (النفس) for emphasis.
