Did the scholars differ regarding the negation of the measurement of comprehensiveness from Allah Almighty, based on their disagreement in interpreting the letter "kaf" in the verse: "There is nothing like Him, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Seeing"?

The Sheikh's words do not indicate a disagreement regarding the negation of qiyas ash-shumul (all-encompassing analogy) concerning Allah. Rather, the disagreement lies in the implication of the letter kaf in the verse: "There is nothing like unto Him" (Qur'an 42:11), regarding the negation of this type of analogy. Both types of analogy (ash-shumul and at-tamthil - analogical representation) are invalid concerning Allah Almighty. Instead, qiyas al-awla (analogy of the eminent) is used for Him to affirm the types of perfection befitting Him, because Allah Almighty "cannot be subjected, along with others, to qiyas ash-shumul in which its individual instances are equal, nor to qiyas at-tamthil in which the ruling of the origin and the branch are equal."
