We advise you to give in charity from your salary what is easy for you, for charity is a cause for increasing wealth. As for your doubt about whether you made a vow or not, nothing is incumbent upon you, because the default is the acquittal of responsibility, as mentioned by Al-Izz ibn Abd al-Salam in Qawa'id al-Ahkam.
