How should a suitor deal with his divorced fiancée who is older than him, given his fear that she might compare him to her ex-husband?

The Prophetic Sunnah mentions the recommendation to marry virgins, due to their pleasant speech, lack of vulgarity, and contentment with little. The original preference is to marry virgins. However, the ruling may vary depending on the individual, as Jabir ibn Abdullah did when he married a previously married woman to care for his sisters, or due to an inability to deflower a virgin, or a desire for a specific previously married woman because of her good qualities. It is recommended to perform Istikhara (prayer for guidance) and supplication before making any decision.
