Did Abu Bakr and Umar, may Allah be pleased with them, recommend that they be buried next to the Prophet, may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him, and what is the wisdom behind that, in response to those who link the burial of their dead in the cemetery of Imam Ali, may Allah be pleased with him, to what the Rightly Guided Caliphs did seeking blessings?

Abu Bakr recommended that he be buried next to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. Similarly, Umar sought permission to be buried with his two companions (the Prophet and Abu Bakr), and Aisha granted him permission. Scholars have deemed it desirable to be buried next to righteous people. Among the proofs for this is the supplication of Musa, peace be upon him, asking Allah to bring him closer to the Holy Land due to its honor and the virtue of the Prophets and others buried there. It has been reported from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, "Bury your dead in the midst of righteous people, for the deceased is harmed by a bad neighbor just as the living is harmed by a bad neighbor" (however, this hadith is weak).
