Is one affected by whoever is buried next to them?

It is not permissible to bury two individuals in one grave except out of necessity. There is no evidence from the Sunnah to confirm that the deceased is affected by whoever is buried next to them. As for the hadith: "Bury your dead among righteous people...", it is fabricated. And despite the recommendation of some scholars to be buried next to the righteous, based on the hadith of Moses (peace be upon him) and the bequests of some of the Salaf, it cannot be asserted that the deceased benefits from this due to the lack of an explicit text. It is forbidden to bequeath to be buried next to a specific person for blessings or seeking intercession from them. What is important is preparing good deeds.
