The best place for a woman is her home. Her going out is not obligatory, and it is permissible provided she adheres to the hijab, modesty, and avoids mixing with men. There is no harm in a woman working if it abides by the Sharia guidelines, such as wearing the hijab, not being in seclusion with non-mahram men, not speaking in a soft or alluring manner, and not mixing with men. Her travel must be with a mahram. A wife is not permitted to work or go out except with her husband's permission, unless she stipulated this at the time of the marriage contract.

The questioner is advised to try to convince the girl of the importance of a woman staying at home, especially when there are children, and to explain the corrupting influences of women's work in these times. If she is not convinced, then there is no harm in marrying her if her work adheres to Sharia guidelines, and if she is religious, well-mannered, and trustworthy, and if he does not find anyone better than her; otherwise, a non-working woman is preferred.
