What is the ruling on the phrase "Dakhīlak Yā Rabb" (I seek refuge in You, O Lord)? May Allah bless you.

If the phrase "Dakhilak ya Rabb" (I seek refuge in You, O Lord / I am under Your protection, O Lord) is intended to mean seeking refuge in Allah, sheltering with Him, and seeking His protection from what is disliked, then there is no harm in saying it, bearing in mind that it is always better to use the

reported (ma'thur) supplications for seeking refuge.
