What is the ruling on calling a child named "Abd Al-Rahman" by "Rahmoon" as a term of endearment?

Abd al-Rahman should not be called "Rahmoon" because it alters Allah's name, "al-Rahman." However, calling him "Aboud" or "Abbadī" is permissible because it alters the name "Abd" (servant) and not "al-Maboud" (the worshipped).
