Do you prefer the right side for the Imam in the first row for congregational prayer, and what are the proofs for that?

The right side of the Imam has a superiority over his left side. This is indicated by the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "Indeed, Allah and His angels send blessings upon the right sides of the rows." And in the hadith of Al-Bara': "When we prayed behind the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), we loved to be on his right side."
