Is it permissible to pray in a large room that contains a ritually impure spot and a pure one?

Prayer is valid in the pure part of the room, and the presence of impurity in another part of it does not matter. This is because the worshiper is not carrying the impurity nor praying on it; rather, their prayer rug is connected to it. This is similar to praying on pure ground that is connected to impure ground.
