Does saying words of love to one's beloved while fasting invalidate the fast?

It is not permissible to exchange words of love and flirtation with a non-mahram woman, even if she is engaged. This is a sin that necessitates repentance, but it does not invalidate the fast. As for one's wife, there is no objection to words of love as long as they do not lead to something forbidden; however, refraining from them is better for the perfection of the fast. If semen is discharged while speaking with one's wife, the fast remains valid.
