What does one who is unable to recite Al-Fatiha in prayer say during bowing and prostration, and is the first and second Tashahhud obligatory upon him?

Whoever is unable to recite Al-Fatihah should recite whatever he has memorized from it, or repeat a verse seven times. If he is unable to do that, he should recite seven verses from elsewhere, or say: "Subhan Allah, Wal-hamdulillah, Wala ilaha illallah, Wallahu Akbar, Wala hawla wala quwwata illa billah (Glory be to Allah, and praise be to Allah, and there is no god but Allah, and Allah is the Greatest, and there is no might or power except with Allah)." As for remembrance in bowing (Ruku') and prostration (Sujud), it is Sunnah according to the majority of scholars, and obligatory according to the Hanbalis. Whoever is unable to perform it, his prayer is still valid. As for the Tashahhud, whoever is unable to recite it should offer another remembrance, otherwise he should sit for the duration of the Tashahhud and then make the Taslim (salutation of peace). It is obligatory to learn the rulings of prayer, and whoever falls short while being able to learn is blameworthy.
