Is the order of the surahs' revelation unanimously agreed upon, and is it possible to know which surah was revealed after a specific surah?

There is no consensus on the order of revelation of the chapters (surahs) of the Holy Quran, but the differences regarding this order and the distinction between Makkan and Madinan surahs are not significant. Ibn Ashur, in his exegesis "Al-Tahrir wa al-Tanwir," relied on the narration of Jabir ibn Zayd, which was mentioned by Al-Suyuti in "Al-Itqan."

According to this narration, the first surah revealed in Mecca was "Iqra' bism Rabbika" (Recite in the name of your Lord), then "Nun wal Qalam" (Nun and the Pen), then "Ya Ayyuha al-Muzzammil" (O you who wraps himself), then "Ya Ayyuha al-Muddaththir" (O you who covers himself), then "Al-Fatihah" (The Opening), and so on, reaching surah "Wayl lil-Mutaffifin" (Woe to the defrauders), which was the last to be revealed in Mecca.

As for what was revealed in Medina, it began with surah "Al-Baqarah" (The Cow), then "Al Imran" (The Family of Imran), then "Al-Anfal" (The Spoils of War), then "Al-Ahzab" (The Confederates), then "Al-Ma'idah" (The Table Spread), then "Al-Mumtahanah" (The Woman to be Examined), then "Idha ja'a nasrullah" (When the help of Allah comes), then "Al-Nur" (The Light), then "Al-Hajj" (The Pilgrimage), then "Al-Munafiqun" (The Hypocrites), then "Al-Mujadalah" (The Pleading Woman), then "Al-Hujurat" (The Rooms), then "Al-Tahrim" (The Prohibiting), then "Al-Jumu'ah" (Friday), then "Al-Taghabun" (Mutual Disillusion), then "Sabbaha al-Hawariyyin" (Glorified the Disciples), then "Al-Fath" (The Victory), then "Al-Tawbah" (The Repentance).
