A Muslim is rewarded for the hardship he endures in acts of worship. This includes the difficulty of learning Arabic to recite the Quran. In the agreed-upon Hadith: "The one who is skilled in the Quran will be with the noble and righteous scribes (angels), and the one who recites the Quran and stumbles over it, and it is difficult for him, will have two rewards." Al-Qurtubi said: "He has two rewards from the aspect of recitation and hardship." Ibn Taymiyyah said: "The reward increases with hardship, because the reward is commensurate with the effort and toil."
