Is it permissible to supplicate for the companionship of a Muslim jinn for the purpose of intimacy and cooperation in worship, and would such a supplication be answered?

Originally, it is permissible to supplicate with a Muslim companion. However, it is better to avoid becoming attached to jinn, even in good deeds, due to their treachery and enmity towards humans, and because it is difficult to determine their Islam from their disbelief, or their righteousness from their hypocrisy. It has not been authentically reported that the Prophet (peace be upon him) or the righteous predecessors associated with them or sought their help. Imam Ahmad ibn Hanbal said: "I do not like for anyone to do that, and leaving it is more beloved to me."
