Is working in the field of organizing car races or participating in them considered among the forbidden matters, due to the possibility of exposing oneself to perdition therein?

It is prohibited to participate in high-risk competitions, such as car races, based on the Almighty's saying: "And do not throw yourselves with your own hands into destruction," and according to the Prophet's (PBUH) saying: "There should be no harm or reciprocating harm." However, it is permissible to participate if the competitor is skilled, such that their safety is highly probable. It is also permissible to assist such individuals in participating. It is not permissible to take the competition prize from all competitors or from the losers, but it is permissible if one of them or a person from outside the competition donates it.
