Will God forgive a servant who repents and seeks forgiveness for a sin, then returns to it and repeats that, while not abandoning seeking forgiveness?

Indeed, Allah Almighty accepts His servant's repentance even if the sin is repeated a hundred or a thousand times. If the servant repents each time, their repentance is accepted and their sins are forgiven. Allah the Exalted says, describing the pious: (And those who, when they commit an immorality or wrong themselves [by sinning], remember Allah and ask forgiveness for their sins - and who can forgive sins except Allah? - and [who] do not knowingly persist in what they have done. Those - their reward is forgiveness from their Lord and gardens beneath which rivers flow [wherein] they will abide eternally; and excellent is the reward of the [righteous] workers) [Aal 'Imran/135-136]. Imam An-Nawawi titled a chapter regarding the repetition of sin and repentance as "Acceptance of repentance from sins, even if sins and repentance are repeated." The servant must not tire of seeking forgiveness, for persistence in sin is perdition.
