"It is not valid to analogize blood to milk in spreading حرمة (prohibition), for the prohibition by suckling is specific to milk, because it is nourishing, and because the religious text explicitly stated it, along with its conditions of reaching five or more sucklings, and that it occurs within the first two years of life. Therefore, blood drawn from a husband for his wife does not affect their marital life."
