If the girl is religious and well-mannered, there is no religious objection to the young man marrying her, as Islamic law encourages marriage to a religious woman. The fact that the girl comes from a non-religious family is not a religious barrier to marrying her. However, if her parents object, it is not permissible to go against them except for a legitimate reason. If the marriage takes place, the family should attend the wedding and pray for their well-being, avoiding anything that leads to discord. The non-attendance of the family does not affect the validity of the marriage contract."
