Is using electricity considered a sin if the landlord does not pay the due bills, given the inability to move to another residence and the daily necessity of using electricity?

It is not permissible to benefit from electricity without paying for it, because that is a form of betrayal, consuming people's wealth unlawfully, and a breach of contract. This is based on the Almighty's saying: "O you who have believed, do not betray Allah and the Messenger or betray your trusts while you know [the consequence]," and on the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "There is no faith for one who has no trustworthiness, and there is no religion for one who has no commitment," and his saying: "Muslims are bound by their conditions in what is lawful." Therefore, you must pay the company for your electricity consumption, otherwise, it is not permissible for you to benefit from it unless the company permits it without charge.
