What is the expiation for an oath of divorce made in a moment of anger, to enable the fiancée to visit her relatives?

One should be wary of swearing by divorce due to its serious consequences. If swearing by divorce was directed at the fiancée and the marriage contract had not yet been concluded, then no divorce takes place, because she is an outsider, and due to the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "There is no divorce for him regarding what he does not own." However, if the marriage contract had been concluded, then this is considered a suspended divorce. The majority of scholars believe that the divorce takes place, while Sheikh Al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah holds that an expiation for a broken oath (kaffarat yamin) is due if the intention was merely to prevent something.
