Is it permissible for a male student to be alone with a female teacher for a private lesson in her home?

It is not permissible to be in seclusion with a foreign female teacher in her home, due to the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "No man should be in seclusion with a woman unless a mahram is with her." One must search for a male teacher. If none is found and you are compelled to study with a woman, then it should be without seclusion and with the assurance that there is no fitna (temptation).
