If two people share their capital and one of them provides the labor, this is permissible. For the transaction to be valid, it is stipulated that the percentage of profit for each partner must be specified, and the worker's wage must be determined.
If the partnership becomes invalid due to the failure to specify the profit percentage, the profit is divided according to each partner's capital, and the worker is given a wage equivalent to the customary wage (ajr al-mithl).
