What is the value of Zakat on a sum of fifty thousand Egyptian Pounds, given a debt of thirty-three thousand Egyptian Pounds in monthly installments?

One-quarter of one-tenth (2.5%) of the money must be paid as zakat if the wealth reaches the nisab (85 grams of gold or its equivalent in silver) and a full year has passed over it. If the zakat payer owes a debt, they must have other wealth to cover this debt in order to pay zakat on the full amount. Otherwise, they pay zakat on the remaining amount after subtracting the debt.
