Is zakat obligatory on money deposited with you by your mother and your nephew if it reaches the zakat threshold when combined, and is zakat obligatory on an employee?

"Money is not combined with other money to complete the Nisab (definition) as long as each has an independent owner. Zakat (definition) is obligatory on each sum of money individually if it reaches the Nisab and a full year has passed over it. Giving out Zakat without the owner's knowledge or permission is not valid, due to the requirement of intention, unless the one giving it out is an agent for the owner of the money, or if the owner of the money is a child or insane. It is permissible to pay Zakat to an employee if they fall under one of the eight categories of Zakat recipients mentioned in the Quran."
