"Leasing is not valid unless for a known period. What is intended here is not a true lease contract, but rather a gift of the usufruct of the apartment to the wife until her death. This gift is not binding, because it is a gift of usufruct that is consumed over time, and the giver can revoke it whenever he wishes. It also becomes void upon the death of either party."
