The presence of blood in the seminal fluid is not a defect that warrants the option of annulment or causes the wife to be repulsed, as it is a temporary, curable illness. The suitor is not obliged to inform his fiancée about it unless it causes infertility or severe reproductive weakness. In this case, disclosure is obligatory because offspring is a right for both spouses and one of the objectives of marriage. Umar ibn al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him), Imam Ahmad, Ibn Taymiyyah, and Ibn al-Qayyim all stipulated the obligation of informing a woman about infertility and that she has the right to seek annulment or divorce. The Permanent Committee for Scholarly Research and Ifta also affirmed the obligation of disclosure and a woman's right to divorce due to infertility, stating that it is deception if she is not informed. Therefore, the questioner must ask a doctor about his ability to procreate. If there is severe weakness, he must inform his fiancée; otherwise, he is not obliged to.
