Is printing Islamic books from the internet on the school printer and making them publicly available considered a sinful act?

There is no harm in downloading beneficial books from the internet for personal use or to make them available to students and researchers. However, it is not permissible to print them for commercial purposes except with the permission of their owners. Permission from the school must be obtained to use the printing machine.
