Is it permissible to profit from an internet café that offers diverse services, such as computer games, home internet delivery, and the sale and maintenance of computers and their accessories, given challenges related to ensuring the halal use of the internet, monitoring user content, the possibility of circulating materials containing music or semi-nude images, and the inability to always close the shop for prayer?

The internet has many benefits and harms. Using it for beneficial purposes is permissible, while using it for harmful purposes is forbidden. Opening internet cafes involves both benefits and harms. If the owner of the cafe can block evil and forbidden acts, then there is no objection to opening it and earning a living from it. Otherwise, it is not permissible for him to do so, as it involves assisting in sin. Allah Almighty said: "And cooperate in righteousness and piety, but do not cooperate in sin and aggression." And whoever abandons something for the sake of Allah, Allah will compensate him with something better.
