Is it permissible for a woman to assume the position of judge in Islamic Sharia?

It is impermissible for a woman to assume public offices that require addressing men, intermingling with them, repeatedly going out, asking them questions, and answering them. This is because it contradicts her femininity and modesty and may lead to the loss of her modesty. Among these positions are: Imamate (leading prayers), delivering sermons, practicing law, and anything that necessitates frequenting courts and departments frequented by men. As for positions specifically for women, there is no harm in her assuming them, such as teaching, medicine, nursing, and therapy for women, as well as working in women's departments.
