What is the meaning of Ibn al-Mubarak's saying: "Abu Hanifa was steadfast in Hadith"? And what is the rank of Imam Abu Hanifa in Hadith?

The phrase mentioned, "Abu Hanifa was blind in hadith," is a distortion. The correct phrase is "Abu Hanifa was an orphan in hadith" or "poor in hadith." What Ibn al-Mubarak meant by that was that Abu Hanifa was not skilled in the science of hadith due to his focus on fiqh. Ibn al-Mubarak praised him by saying, "The most jurisprudent of people is Abu Hanifa; I have not seen anyone like him in fiqh."
