Perhaps the questioner is referring to the narrated by Al-Daylami from Anas, marfu‘an: "If Allah intends good for His servant, He admonishes him in his sleep." This Hadith was mentioned by Al-Suyuti in Al-Jami' Al-Saghir, and Al-Albani judged it to be extremely weak. As for the wording mentioned, it has not been reported. The meaning of admonishment (al-itab) is gentle reproach for wrongdoing.
