What is the meaning of descending, hand, eye, and laughter, without delving into the modality?

The interpretation of the meanings of Allah Almighty's attributes is by affirming them according to their apparent meaning, without distortion or reinterpretation. Attributes that are clear in the language do not require interpretation, unlike what some might find ambiguous, such as "al-istiwaa’" (the act of ascending or being above), which the Salaf (pious predecessors) interpreted as highness and elevation. The Salaf unanimously agreed on affirming Allah's attributes mentioned in the Qur’an and Sunnah, such as: wrath, pleasure, hand, descent, eye, and laughter, without asking how (kayf) or making resemblances (tashbih), while negating any false meanings from them.
