What is the ruling on keeping pictures of women or girls with uncovered faces and heads, and adorned, in a Facebook account, and what is the ruling on publishing them and what consequences result from that?

It is not permissible for a Muslim to keep pictures of immodestly dressed girls on Facebook or elsewhere, and whoever does so is sinful. It is also not permissible to publish them, and whoever publishes them is even more sinful; because that leads to the spread of evil and corruption. One must repent to Allah Almighty, as He says: "And turn to Allah in repentance, all of you, O believers, that you might succeed."
