What is the ruling concerning a bicycle one suspects is stolen, and is it permissible to sell it or keep it?

Piety (wara') means getting rid of the bicycle by giving it to a poor person or selling it and spending its price for the general benefit of Muslims or for a poor person, due to the presence of doubt. However, if you use it, there is no sin upon you, because the original owner of the bicycle had possession of it, and a judgment of theft cannot be made without clear evidence or confession, neither of which is present.
