ما نوع التين الذي ذُكر في القرآن الكريم؟

The exegetes (mufassirun) differed regarding the meaning of "tin" (fig) in His (Allah's) saying, "By the fig and the olive" [Surat At-Tin, 95:1], offering several interpretations:

It refers to the mosque of Damascus, or Damascus itself, or the mountain near it, or the mosque of the People of the Cave, or the mosque of Noah on Mount Judi, or the well-known fig fruit. It refers to the fig that is eaten and the olive that is pressed, or they are two places (two mountains in Syria, or the mosque of Damascus and the mosque of Jerusalem, or the mosque of Noah and the mosque of Abraham).

The most apparent interpretation is that they are two places in Syria (the homeland of Jesus, peace be upon him).

There is no need to search for a specific type of fig, as it was left unclarified in the Quran and not elucidated by the Sunnah, nor does knowing it yield a great benefit.
