"Al-wabal" means punishment and retribution, as in His, the Almighty's, saying: (So it tasted the evil consequence of its affair) meaning the recompense of its affair or the punishment of its affair. And "al-minsa'ah" means a large staff. It is said to be a word from the language of Abyssinia, and it has been narrated with different recitations.
