Is there truly a sin or injustice that shortens a person's life, and if a person repents, does Allah Almighty then shorten his life?

Sins and transgressions have worldly and otherworldly punishments. Some worldly punishments are hastened due to injustice and severing kinship ties. Faith and obedience, such as maintaining kinship ties, genuinely and blessedly increase one's lifespan and provision, whereas acts of disobedience may lead to their decrease. Predetermined lifespans are not delayed when their appointed time comes. However, supplication and righteousness can influence the length of life that Allah Almighty has decreed, conditional upon these causes.
