What is the ruling on girls corresponding with young men, and what are the evidences and proofs that address this widespread phenomenon?

Islamic Sharia has forbidden adultery and its means to preserve lineage and honor. Among these means are seclusion (khalwa), unlawful gazing, women's provocative display (tabarruj) and use of perfume, their deceptive speech with men, and their soft, alluring speech to them. Allah Almighty commanded the wives of the Prophet (peace be upon him) to speak courteously, to remain in their homes, and to avoid displaying themselves provocatively, so that those with sickness in their hearts would not covet them. Young men and women must lower their gaze, guard their chastity, abandon indecency, and stay away from provocative display; for the Prophet (peace be upon him) warned women who display themselves provocatively of the Hellfire. If young men and women adhere to these commandments, it will be purer and more wholesome for them and their society.
