Does the absence of a cure for homosexuality, despite it being left for a long time, indicate the persistence of the desire for it?

What some doctors have said about homosexuality is incorrect. For every ailment, there is a cure. Homosexuality is not a true illness, but rather a demonic temptation. Its cure lies in repenting to Allah, seeking His help, seeking refuge from Satan, and being mindful of Allah's watchful eye and His reckoning on the Day of Judgment.
