Should I stop praying and abandon the matter of proposing to a specific young man, despite an inner certainty that the prayer will be answered, or should I continue praying even though the young man is hesitant and the matter is difficult? And does Allah instill certainty in the heart of a servant for something not destined for him?

Familiarity between young men and women under the pretext of marriage is a gateway to temptation, and one must be cautious of it. If a young man proposes to you, after performing Istikhara, do not rely on a feeling of ease or unease in your heart. Rather, proceed with the matter unless Allah turns you away from it. Performing Istikhara before a marriage proposal has no meaning. If there is no proposal, then you must turn your heart away from attachment to this young man and ask Allah to bless you with a righteous husband.
